Body Psychotherapy sessions will offer you space to express how you feel, to manage day-to-day stress and explore past events. This can be through talking as well as body-oriented approaches such as movement, art, guided imagery, dialogues with objects that represent people in your life, or through Biodynamic Massage (a psychotherapeutic form of touch). Each session is unique to you and we’ll choose a way of working that feels right.
I believe that the body holds innate wisdom and when given a safe environment will naturally move towards healing.
My intention is to support you on your journey of self-discovery and to offer you a safe, non-judgemental environment in which to connect with yourself in deeper and more profound ways.
Our first session is an initial consultation, which gives us the opportunity to get to know one another and to see how we might work together. Remote sessions via Zoom are available during the coronavirus period.
Before training as a psychotherapist I trained as a yoga teacher, alongside running a digital marketing consultancy.
I’m an advanced trainee Body Psychotherapist at the Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre (CBPC) and am preparing to register with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
